Available Skarlotte Goldens
Every once in a while, we get to spend a little extra time with our puppies while they search for their perfect match. Whether due to timing, special circumstances, or simply waiting for the right family, these puppies are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives and bring joy to a forever home.
Meet Louie!
DOB: February 19, 2026
Gender: Male
Louie is a lovable puppy from our Jr. Woodchucks Litter who is searching for a special family to call his own. From the very beginning, Louie has been full of personality, bringing smiles wherever he goes with his happy-go-lucky attitude, affectionate nature, and love for being close to his people. If there's a couch available, chances are Louie will happily curl up beside you for a cuddle.
As a puppy, we discovered that one of the blood vessels in Louie's eye did not recede as expected during development. This results in dry eye, which is currently managed with daily eye drops to keep him comfortable and healthy, though additional treatment may be necessary later in life.
Louie is a friendly, eager-to-please puppy who genuinely enjoys learning and spending time with his family. He comes when called, has mastered an automatic sit when greeting people, and is currently working on crate training, potty training, and foundational commands like "crate," "touch," and "here." He loves playing with children and other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a variety of family environments.
Like any Golden Retriever, Louie thrives on companionship and wants to be included in whatever is happening around him. His sweet temperament, trainable nature, and joyful spirit make him an easy dog to fall in love with.

Louie is looking for a family willing to dedicate a few extra moments each day to his eye care in exchange for a lifetime of companionship, loyalty, cuddles, and unconditional love.
Why an older puppy might be right for you...
1. Established personality and temperament - helps match a puppy to your lifestyle and preferences.
2. Potential for quicker training - longer attention spans and advanced brain development makes them more receptive and eager to learn.
3. Emotional maturity and bonding - quicker connection and attentiveness helps them bond deeper, faster!
