I love getting to know each family and learning about your lifestyle, hopes, and what you're looking for in a Golden Retriever.Once I've had a chance to review your application, I'll personally reach out to schedule a phone call. I truly enjoy these conversations! It's a chance for us to get to know one another, answer questions, and make sure an SKG puppy is the right fit for your family.After our conversation, I’ll ask you to take some time to think it over, sleep on it, and let me know if you’d like to officially join the SKG waitlist. There is no fee to be added to the waitlist, but it is a commitment I take seriously. Families on my waitlist are families I’m thoughtfully considering for a future SKG puppy.Once a litter is available that aligns with your timing, we’ll move forward with the next steps, including your litter reservation, contract, and deposit to secure your puppy spot.

Joining the SKG waitlist means you have completed the application process, had a conversation with me, and decided you’d like to be considered for a future puppy. There is no fee to join the waitlist, and it does not guarantee a puppy from a specific litter.When the timing is right and a litter becomes available that aligns with your family’s timeline, we’ll move forward with the reservation process. A signed contract and deposit are required to secure your place with a specific litter.

Yes! I’m happy to learn about your preferences and will always take them into consideration when planning puppy matches.That being said, the more specific your request, the more flexibility may be needed with timing. Certain colors or genders are naturally more limited within each litter, so families with very specific preferences may need to wait longer for the right match.My goal is always to help you find the puppy who is the best fit for your family while also respecting the individual puppies and their unique personalities.

That's completely okay! Timing is such an important part of finding the right puppy. If my upcoming litters don't align with your family's timeline, I'm always happy to point you toward another reputable breeder who may be a better fit.I'm truly honored whenever someone considers one of my puppies, and I'd much rather help you find the right puppy at the right time than have you feel rushed or wait longer than you'd hoped.

To protect the health, routine, and well-being of my dogs, I do not offer on-site visits before families have completed my application and been added to the litter list officially. However, I'm always happy to share photos, videos, health testing information, pedigrees, and answer any questions you have about the parents.I want you to feel confident in your decision, and I'm committed to being as open and transparent as possible throughout the process.
